In the Sands of Time

Ever turn down a road and realize you really do not know if you are headed in the right direction? And then, you happen upon and discover something interesting, historical and cool? Or you have drove past it a million times and never really paid any attention?

Well, today I did all of that! The Topsail Towers are erected along the shoreline in Topsail Island (On the boarder of Surf City) North Carolina.

I wondered and pondered who might have lived or worked in this building, and contemplated why they are up and down Topsail Beach.

The Forgotten & Battered

Walking up to these old homes, you feel their presence and essence of purpose, long ago. Some preserved, others fallen and broken. All – unique and full of character.
