Sea Foam
Is it the breath of the ocean? The foam that remains painting the shoreline…filled with the remains, the breath…
According to Wikapedia.org: derived from sources such as the offshore breakdown of algal blooms. These compounds can act as surfactants or foaming agents. As the seawater is churned by breaking waves in the surf zone adjacent to the shore, the presence of these surfactants under these turbulent conditions traps air, forming persistent bubbles that stick to each other through surface tension.
Fairies In the Garden
The Dr. Heber W. Johnson Rotary Garden – Home of the World’s Largest Rotary Wheel, was host to the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society‘s Secret Garden Tour Ribbon Cutting. Painting the garden were precious, little fairies.
Twirling, dancing, flittering, skipping and even a little pouting, they entertained the patrons with a sense of innocence, happiness and life.
The remainder of the day was caught in the beauty of “The Lesson of a Child” – to not take all of life so seriously, to dance, to flitter, to discover, to twirl…enjoy, foster and seek those things in life that make us smile and utilize our gifts to make this world a better place.
You may say this is “Polly-an-ish,” no matter! Life is short, So why not be fairy-like and play!
Soul Food
Ever find yourself lost in a melody, harmony or words from a song? Music can capture all your senses. It will take you away or lift your spirit. Music is food for the soul! (If you are open to it)
Even a bad song can capture you. When “that” song is played, whether live, radio, satellite, in your car, at home or office…music will change the environment with its energy. Just check out what music can do to a crystal (http://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/water-crystal.html).
This past weekend attended a Jamey Johnson Concert. The photo does not describe the energy that lifted the people in this venue to sing along to every word of every song! Lyrics to sound – reminiscence of happy and sad life experiences, meshed with friends and lovers enjoying the evening! (http://www.jameyjohnson.com/home/)
I listen to everything musical! I love when a song moves me and its impact make me dance and sing along – or want to “play it again.”
What would the world be like without music?
